Happy December!

My Favorite Month Has Started!!!!!!

December means Christmas which means hanging with the Fam-Jam and decorating the tree together, oh lord.. the shenanigans we get ourselves into is just too much... ha ha

I just love the holidays!

My reasons would have to include:
Ugly christmas sweaters
Too. Many. Christmas. Parties!
A Christmas Card from The Weston Family- Thanks Galen!
School is out for a month! ( why am I paying so much again?!)
Public skating!
Tobogganing! ( some like to add alcoholic beverages to this recreational activity)
Shopping! -Actually I hate shopping unless its for myself but I love the atmosphere of the mall during the holidays
Christmas Movies & Music- How the Grinch Stole Christmas (Original Version) is my favorite movie! (Christmas Vacation is a close second)
Starbucks Holiday Coffee!!! -actually I just like the cup I get... I dont know how to order at Starbucks... lol
Hockey, Hockey & More Hockey!!!
I will be at the arena more times than I will be at home!
Its a true fact. I live for the arena. lol!

Today in class, we had a presentation and one of the questions that was asked at the end

of the presentation was, what is music to you? What song makes you think of something great in your life?

I was to busy playing bubble spinner to pay any attention to answering the question, but as I go through my ipod now, I think about the songs that make me think about life, and the songs that all I can do is sing along too.

God I wish my life had a soundtrack to it...

I feel as though there are moments in our lives that just need a certain song to be playing in the background just to set the scene.

For example: if something horrific was happening; a car accident involving friends and you're just finding out about it, you need like a Greg Laswell song, not Kanye.

Or, its the beginning of the championship game, you'd want an upbeat song like "revelations" by Audioslave.

I was reading MLIA (who doesn't read it??), and I came across one that said, I was walking alone down the hall at school and the band was playing the Darth Vadar theme song, I felt like a badass.

Things like that are awesome!

I want to be able to walk down the hall at school and a song play in the background that would totally be awesome!... But then again, I'd stop to dance to it... I'd pull a 'Glee'.

Last weekend was the Grape and Wine festival in St.Kitts. There was bands playing all weekend long and of course the endless supply of wine.

And finally after 20 years of hearing of

this band called The Caverners (a Canadian cover band for the Beatles), I finally got the chance to see them.

Needless to say they were amazing!

I couldn't pass up an opportunity to take a few shots either!

but anywho, as my first official blog, I would just like to point out

that it is 5:40 am. Monday September 28...

I have yet to go to sleep.

I have yet to rid myself of my first year student habit of not sleeping... and now I have a new reason not to sleep... this blog.

Can't Wait to write more sweet nothings in the near future!!
